What are red words?

90% of the time, speakers of English use just 7,500 words in speech and writing. These words appear in red, and are graded with stars. One-star words are frequent, two-star words are more frequent, and three-star words are the most frequent.

    the measurement of 'heat' (amount of capsaicin) from chilli peppers. It's named after its creator, American pharmacist Wilbur Scoville (January 22, 1865 – March 10, 1942)

    The "Trinidad Scorpion" is currently the World's hottest chilli pepper at 1.5 to 2 million Scovilles, replacing the "Naga Ghost Chilli" which measured approximately 1 million Scovilles on the Scoville scale.
