What happens next?

Macmillan will add your word within the next seven days.

If it doesn't appear, maybe it's because:

• it is already in the Open Dictionary or Macmillan Dictionary Online. Check through the entries to make sure your word is not already there.
• we couldn't find any independent evidence for your word being in common use. This is important, and it means you can't make a word up in order to enter it, and it can't be a word used exclusively by you and your inner circle.
