onestopenglish.com is a free community resource site for EFL and ESL teachers. The website provides a range of services to the English teaching profession, including professional support, methodology articles, sample chapters, a large databank of teaching materials, and worksheets covering American and British English for all age groups and levels. anecdote competition
We'd like to hear your teaching anecdotes so that we can publish stories about what happens in classrooms around the world. We're looking for:

• Funny stories from the classroom

• Horror stories from the classroom

• Disaster stories from the classroom. Your first day as a teacher?

All winners will receive a bag of Macmillan products. This will vary but will always include methodology titles, readers and much more. Each month, one special prize will include a copy of the award-winning Macmillan English Dictionary with CD.

A problem shared is a problem halved, so the saying goes. If you have a problem or question that you'd like some help with, why not post it on Teacher Talk, the onestopenglish discussion forum? There are many ways to benefit from Teacher Talk. Here are some suggestions.

Since July 2003, it has been possible to read Teacher Talk messages without needing to register, but you will need to register if you want to post a message. If you haven't done this before, please type in your e-mail address and password on this page. Then press the button called Update my details. If you don't have a password, you can ask us to send you one on the same page.

At the bottom of page 1, press the Continue button. Wait for page 2 to appear (this might take a couple of minutes), then select the first box called Free Resources/onestop forum. You can also select other services on this page at the same time. When you're happy with your selections, press the I agree button at the bottom of page 2.

If you'd like other users to be able to contact you directly, please remember to include your e-mail address when you post a message to the forum.
