Professor Michael  opened the IATEFL Poland Conference 2003 (19th - 21st September) in Wrocław with his charismatic plenary session: ‘It’s my word against yours – everything you’ve ever wanted to know about studying vocabulary and much more!’

The Macmillan Polska dictionary stand featured the Macmillan Essential Dictionary - the younger (and smaller) ‘brother’ of the award-winning Macmillan English Dictionary for Advanced Learners. The Macmillan representative in Wrocław, Przemek, offered teachers an exciting and instant word-search with the dictionary CD-ROMs.
